Today we had a day off so I had a plenty of time to look what's going on around me.. and it looks like spring is in here too (finally).
I bought a macro lens last autumn but haven't used it much during the winter.. I've been actually just waiting for the summer with it...

I hope you like bugs..? :)

I promised 8 months ago I would not bore you with these oldies and already now I'm uploading another one.

I'm still amazed how I'm holding the camera.. it should not be that hard to get horizon straight?. :/
But apart from that I like how bad and good this looks at the same time.

This is an oldie from the days when I was young and handsome..
Anyways, against all the 'rules' of photographing - this was taken straight to the sun but I think it was not totally ruined?

Somehow looks like explosion on the horizon.. if this is how the end of the world will look like, would it be all that horrible?

Sometimes you need to take a longer look to see all the colors around you...

Recently, (maybe thanks to photographing) I've learned to like winter a tiny bit... I agree it can get pretty, but warm nights and deep blue... that's where I belong.

what would it say.?
This Matchbox car was found during the renovation of our house.. it was, literally in the walls.
From bottom I can see it's from year 1968 so it makes me wonder what an interesting story this car could tell us?
Was it left there on purpose by construction man, or was there maybe his kid playing on construction site and car just got lost?

Idea for this type of photo came from a creative young photographer www.flickr.com/photos/annaheimkreiter/
I can never match her work, but well... luckily this is not a competition. ;)

I wish I had darker ND filter.. the one I have (ND8) can give smoothing effect, but not as much as I hope.. I think I did all I could and still could not go longer than 2sec on exposure..
