once again I transformed my living room into a studio, and once again I wish to have a separate room for that, where I could drop all that stuff...

used one striplight from the right, and a second flash into a golden umbrella from above/ behind me to highlight the hair. no other light source except the flashes, it was completely dark.

in photoshop I adjusted the levels to darken my left side, sharpened, increased contrast und used a gradient fill layer in overlay mode to give the cool flash light a warmer hue. the background was masked to leave it unchanged.

had a trip to the oldest preserved cemetery of Stuttgart today, which is called "Hoppenlaufriedhof ". I shot many pictures there, but when I saw that wall, I suddenly felt like making some selfportraits.

will upload also a few of the photographs showing these old weather-beaten gravestones, some of them dating from the 17th century.
