The vendor was actually selling these as planters for succulents. I loved the morning dew showing up on the shells.

I have been trying to capture some of my daughter's childhood items in still life images. The red is her silk kimono from my parent's trip to China, the background is her beach bag and the toy represents her love of animated images, especially those that are from Japan. (She will probably tell me I am wrong about the character because I don't know this one but she love Japanese animation.)

These are tiny little glass cats. The trick is getting them to stand up. Included in the scene is also a silk kimono and a woven bag.

The garden club always has ivy on the tables as decorations as we are trying to keep the ivy from taking over the building. Then, other seasonal items get added to the table. We had this lovely spider web candle votive sitting next to us and then the woman near me sat down her sunglasses. I liked the combination of items as a representation of our gathering.
