This shot was taken 2 weeks ago and although the loch was frozen, it was 10 degrees and we were in shirt sleeves.

It's forecast to snow every day next week :-(

A different shot to the one recently posted, taken a little later. Spot metering on the moon brought out only the lights on the boat and left the rest inky black...

It was a lovely Spring day in Glen Tanar, 10 degrees, sunny and really pleasant to be out.

Despite it having been relatively warm for a few weeks, the loch was still well frozen-not that I'd risk skating mind....

While not the world's greatest photo, I like this simply because I have never in my entire life stood and watched the moon rise. It comes up at quite a pace!

It was a lovely sunset too, hence the pink glow all around....

This would have been epic 15 minutes later with the full dawn sun upon it, but alas clouds to the east & west scuppered that. Maybe next time....
