Bucura Lake up into the Retezat Mountains, seen from the hiking trail leading to another glacial lake called Ana. The Peleaga peak and the nearby heights are covered by white clouds.

White fluffy cloud covering the summit of one of the main peaks from the Fagaras Mountains as seen from the main road at the north near sunset. The peaks themselves are also still covered with a generous amount of snow.

Scattered herd of sheep walking and grazing on the shaded eastern side of the mountain ridge. Just behind one of Fagaras Mountains' summit there's a large fluffy white cloud on a deep blue sky, partially lighted by the sun.

Photo taken during a dangerous ascent on a cold late spring day in the Piatra Craiului Mountains. The gravel on the ground and the trecerous snow made it impossible to safely go beyond a certain point, quite close to the summit.

The rocky peaks are free of snow as it was the middle of summer. A few white clouds are on the blue sky behind the mountain wall.

The high snow covered mountain peaks of Iezer Papusa mountains seen from the trail leading to the Piatra Craiului summit. An almost round shaped hole through a large eroded rock wall gives way to the distant view.

Sharp peaks of barren gray rocks with sharp endings among short grass covered slopes. This formation is part of a descending narrow ridge leading down to the forests at the mountain base behind it.

Brasov city sign up on the hill

The city sign of Brasov, imitating the famous Hollywood one, up on the hill overlooking the old town. Unfortunately the cruel summer sun makes for some harsh shadows.
