Another Aquarium outfit for Mystic Ed

Mystic Ed & Fluffy posted a photo:

I wear this galabea a lot. It is very servisable and is so easy to wash. It came from Aswan in Egypt last year. This scarf/sarong around my shoulders is very special to me as it was a surprise gift many years ago from our lovely friend Rachel who lives in Molesey who we love very much.
The scarf is edged in seashells and is covered in silver sequins and it is ideal to sit in in an evening when we turn our chairs around and watch our fish. In total we had 18 but one had sadly passed away yesterday. I felt very sad as you really do get so used to them all and become attached to each and every one and there seemed no reason for one to die. Yet people have told us that we have been very lucky for all of them to have lived as it is usual to lose a few at first.
In Feng Shui terms, if a fish dies then you have to think that any negativity sent your way, the fish protects you and absorbs the negativity so therefore fulfills its lifes mission. Then last night, Jayne from Wrexham told me that it is supposed to be a very lucky sign! And that if a fish dies that really good unexpected luck soon comes to you.
Still feel a bit sad for that little fish though.....

Getting better: Day Four My new silk & satin scarf

Mystic Ed & Fluffy posted a photo:

So far so good.
I am determined to be as fit and healthy as I can possibly get and also to stay like it. I do believe that you can indeed "Think Yourself Well" which simply involves awakening the inner healer and talking to your body (as a dear friend pointed out to me last night).

Also in order to feel good you very often need a change away from your environment. And however beautiful we have endeavoured to make our home and garden, it has been like going away on holiday to wake up in a morning and excitedly find out some clothes that are desperate to be worn, to jump in the car, taking the top off the car and playing lots and lots of varied music as we set off on new journeys.

Our hearts seem to search for the magick of Wales and in three days we have travelled to nine different locations.

This is my new scarf that we happened upon at a Welsh charity shop in a pretty village street we had never been to before.

The scarf is a mixture of satin and silk and is of a picasso painting.

Oh and the price?

TWENTY FIVE PENCE!!!!!!

(Although material things are certainly not the most important things in life when health and inner happiness is, this little bit of reatai therapy made me feel very happy indeed)

Hope you like it. OXO

Now whatever can we do for "Getting Better Day Five?" Much Love, Your Reborn Wizard, Ed (and Fluffy) oxo

I love to sit in the warmth of the sun...my parents when they were alive used to say "He doesnt ask for much" when they would go shopping and find me in my recliner drifting off meditation in the sun, many many years ago.

Getting Better; Day Eight. As in Heaven, So on Earth

Mystic Ed & Fluffy posted a photo:

From "The Living Bible":
Psalm 30
I will praise you Lord, For you have saved me from my enemies.
You refuse to let them triumph over me.
Oh Lord my God, I pleaded with you, and you gave me my health again.

I was awaiting Day Eight in anticipation. I `felt` something was going to happen.

I had some very strange dreams where I was trying to escape rooms with metel doors like as in abatoirs.

I woke up feeling a great `change` which is difficult to explain. Suffice to say I woke up feeling better, much better after a few days of feeling most exhausted. I even found a spring in my step this morning as I bounced along walking which I havent done for a long time.

I decided to get out my Wizards ceremonial robes for this photo, they weigh a ton. I thought of the Tarot. The Tarot have served me well for many many years and I thankfully, have been able to help probably, thousands of people over the years.

My friend Sandy as well as others have said that whenever they turn the cards and the Magician comes out in a spread then it represents me. Humility stops me from agreeing but on this occasion here I am with a tribute to the Magician and the Tarot.

Usually with the magician the sign of infinity (and eight on its side) is above the magicians head. I have leo rising in my chart and I should have been a leo (eighth month and birthsign) but I sprang from the womb early!!

I thank the powerful guides and Magicians and Wizards of long ago for helping me to get well .

The part from Psalm 30 is one of those things when you simply open a book and read what you see first. As it happens, it happened to be the Bible.

Well, it has answered my prayers.

Thought for Today:
Always believe that your prayers will be answered.

Whatever religion you happen to be, choose or believe to be right for you: Know that you always have answers to your prayers. Maybe not always what you want but what you Need.

Feeling well today and Empowered: Love Your Ed oxo

I dont know whether any of you have noticed: but I do like to collect scarves and hats too!

A Wizard cannot have enough of either dont you agree?!!!!

A friend of ours called Diane went to Egypt a few weeks ago and brought me back an authentic Egyptian hat/ skullcap to add to my growing collection. You may have noticed some of the others I have been wearing on our photostream. Oh it was SO kind of her and I love the colours. Then I realized that when I first visited Egypt in 1996 I paid a vast fortune on this silk shirt from a store in Cairo and lo and behold, they go together perfectly as though they are meant for each other.

The silk shirt is one of the thickest yet finest silk shirts I have. I carefully washed it and the sheen is on as if it was new. I shall go out with Fluffy wearing this one of the days soon. Perhaps on a visit to a museum or art gallery? The back of the shirt depicts four leopards standing upon four pillars.

Thank you dear Diane, I love my hat, you are very kind and very special oxo

I decided to celebrate Life this week. We have made every day a birthday. We have dressed up every day and gone somewhere, not anywhere where you need to spend lots of money, but driving to lots of places with the top off the car and the wind in our hair. And why not? oxo

I decided to celebrate Life this week. We have made every day a birthday. We have dressed up every day and gone somewhere, not anywhere where you need to spend lots of money, but driving to lots of places with the top off the car and the wind in our hair. And why not? oxo

Day Two and I am feeling stronger as you can see. Time to go throught the wardrobes and see what I can wear to brighten my day.. So Far so Good! I have started eating a litlle after no appetite and the pain at the top of my right side that has been like toothache right through to the back is far easier. The amazing thing is I really do believe that my own body is healing itself. I even drove all the way to Wales today..oh it was lovely! It was sunny and warm and everything looked beautiful.

I was in a 1960`s Mary Quant mode when I was looking for something different for a photo. I was thinking of people like Zandra Rhodes, Twiggy and Carnaby Street, well I couldnt have gotten it too wrong as Fluffy called me: Charlie Girl! BLESS! oxo

So when we moved everything out of the spare room to revamp it, the bungalow was suddenly full in every room.

Notice the Tiara on top of the cardboard box.....I guess you know who would wear it on the right occassion!

In a few days everything will be sorted out, a lot will go to charity shops or thrown away and the best stuff will hang gaily inside the new wardrobes!
