It is very servisable and is so easy to wash. It came from Aswan in Egypt last year. This scarf/sarong around my shoulders is very special to me as it was a surprise gift many years ago from our lovely friend Rachel who lives in Molesey who we love very much.<br /> The scarf is edged in seashells and is covered in silver sequins and it is ideal to sit in in an evening when we turn our chairs around and watch our fish. In total we had 18 but one had sadly passed away yesterday. I felt very sad as you really do get so used to them all and become attached to each and every one and there seemed no reason for one to die. Yet people have told us that we have been very lucky for all of them to have lived as it is usual to lose a few at first.<br /> In Feng Shui terms, if a fish dies then you have to think that any negativity sent your way, the fish protects you and absorbs the negativity so therefore fulfills its lifes mission. Then last night, Jayne from Wrexham told me that it is supposed to be a very lucky sign! Then I realized that when I first visited Egypt in 1996 I paid a vast fortune on this silk shirt from a store in Cairo and lo and behold, they go together perfectly as though they are meant for each other.<br /> <br /> The silk shirt is one of the thickest yet finest silk shirts I have. I carefully washed it and the sheen is on as if it was new. I shall go out with Fluffy wearing this one of the days soon. Perhaps on a visit to a museum or art gallery? Time to go throught the wardrobes and see what I can wear to brighten my day.. So Far so Good! I have started eating a litlle after no appetite and the pain at the top of my right side that has been like toothache right through to the back is far easier. The amazing thing is I really do believe that my own body is healing itself. I even drove all the way to Wales today..oh it was lovely!
