it's about the mid-way point and the mo is really starting to fill in now (and the grey is too!)

my ghetto home "studio"

i've been meaning to post a view of my "studio" for a while... this is the set-up I used for this shot.

The 3 ghetto lights include a pair of 500W outdoor floodlights (only 1 was on for the photo), a small halogen desk light (belly and kiss back-lighting), and a 100W desk light.

The 100W desk light is fitted with a home-made snoot (cardboard tube), which is covered with cheese cloth (my ghetto scrim).

I've also got a scrim (cheese cloth) hanging in front of the flood lights.

blah... getting quite tired of this already, and lacking ideas.

same old black background, but i'm trying a different light set-up. or have i done this before? whatever - bounce light off my usual fold-up table/reflector.

i've been trying to shoot 'full' manual lately, so this one ended up WAAY underexposed.

i always shoot in RAW, and i bumped the exposure up +4 in Bridge just to get this much!

the 'texture' is just noise. almost no processing aside from trying to reduce some of the noise in bridge, and increasing the exposure.
