to all my spanish and Portueguese speaking friends...I would like for you to help me
in naming this image. The young lady was dancing in the street. It was a cold and windy
day but the Texas sun was shining brightly lending high contrast on her lovely bright dress and smiling face. I chose "sun dancer" as a 'working' name, but don't know how
it would sound in a Latin language...I also thought of 'shadow dance' because I love the
strong shadow cast by the low January sun. All suggestions are welcome and thanks for your help..I love you all.

In the pure sunlight of a windy day,
'Dancarina do Sol' hears guitars start to play.
Heritage swells from her passionate heart
and moves lovely feet to now be part
of the music and soul of old Mexico
and dance with the joy of folkorico.

El Viente may blow and El Sobre be cast,
as she whirls and she twirls,dancing so fast,
till the echos of guitars have faded away.
But, she'll dance again..some windy 'sun'day.

my granddaughter Emma's great grandparents
were Portuguese field workers in Hawaii.
When she dances she beomes "Dancarina Do Sol".

This was one I overlooked from the 2011 Aloha Fest...Don't miss this annual event in the Houston area.
