At the Ribble Steam Railway Museum in Preston. The prototype Deltic has been loaned by the NRM and will remain at the railway for the 2013 season.

Designed and built in Preston by English Electric (Dick Kerr) in early 1955, Deltic went on to replace steam trains, permitting sustained 100mph travel drastically cutting travel times and setting many speed records in the process

The loco forms the centrepoint of a 'Made In Preston' Exhibition at the museum.
