We all decided to have a roast in the Fleet - it was as good as any, but I've never had such a big Yorkshire Pudding in my life (and sadly couldn't eat all of mine!)

The sun setting beyond Eggardon hillfort in west Dorset. Farmer's bonfires and a little mist added to the great atmosphere that's always to be felt up on Eggardon. It's that sort of place.

Last week I popped up to Town to see the Tony Ray Jones/ Martin Parr exhibition at the Science Museum, it ends March 16th so hurry along!

It was superb and for anyone with an interest in Englishness in all it's quirks and in street photography and documentary photography as a whole it is a must see.

The early morning light is glorious in the house - light flooding in through the bathroom and loo windows. This gives me a plinth at the top of the stairs - gently lit with the yellow painted stairwell makiing an ideal out-of-focus backdrop
