Some nice clouds rolled through after sunset tonight. The Port Dalhousie Outer Range Lighthouse is in the background. Built in 1879, it marked the entrance to the earlier versions of the Welland Canal.

Deschenes Rapids in the Ottawa River. On the opposite side is the town of Deschenes, Quebec. This image is taken from the Ontario side. Shoreline trees are submerge during the spring high water levels.

The Elora Mews courtyard is centrally located on Elora's historic Mill Street West, halfway between the new corner park and the Elora Mill, and directly across from the Grand River lookout, piers of the former walking bridge, and the old Little Folks factory buildings.

There have been some changes in the Mews in Spring 2013 - the Chanticleer Shop has moved to a larger store across the courtyard (left side of picture), the Krajewski Gallery (of Galt) has opened a sister gallery in Elora in the Mews (rear left), a new boutique of artistic fashion designs "Random Joy" has opened - with a studio upstairs, which will be on the Elora-Fergus Fall Studio Tour- (centre of picture).

Both Remi's Place (ice cream & fast food from the grill) and Mooney's Curds & Whey (sandwiches, snacks and desserts) have their tables and umbrellas outside on warmer days.

Along the hike there were many areas with spectacular views. You just have to put your life at risk in order to see the view lol. Below these trees was a cliff and the Credit river. I quite enjoyed this view point.
