I'm sure by now you are all sick and tired of seeing these star and milky way photos from me...I just can't get enough of them as of late. Part of it is just due to the fact that I find the stars and milky way to be so interesting and the other part is knowing the adventures Ed Brice and I have gone on to get these shots as of late.

I'll try to throw some of my normal types of photos into the mix as to not bore anyone with the onslaught of these photos. :-)

This photo here was taken over at Navajo Point up at the Grand Canyon. I happened to capture what I believe to be a satellite streaking across the sky. The reason why I say it's a satellite as to the naked eye it didn't appear to be a normal shooting star...who knows perhaps it was a UFO?! ;-)

Navajo Point Milky Way

Here's another shot from this past weekend when Ed Brice and I decided to head up to the Grand Canyon to see what we could capture in the sky.

At first it seemed like the Milky Way was going to be a bust and we weren't going to get any good shots that night so we decided to head back to the car and rest for a little bit since we had been out shooting for several hours already. We then decided to change locations and head over to Navajo Point and that is when the Milky Way really seemed to be showing up in the photos and we were able to capture some "steallar" shots. :-)

Grand Canyon At Night

Ed Brice and I pulled another all night trip to the Grand Canyon this weekend, just like we did for Sedona last weekend all in search for that perfect Milky Way shot. Not sure we've captured it just yet....

When we first arrived at the Grand Canyon the moon was about 53% full and still had several hours before setting so we decided to see what we could capture in the moonlight.

This was just one of several photos I was able to capture of the Grand Canyon being lit up by the moon light that evening. Albeit it wasn't this visible to the naked eye but the outlines were still very visible and a sight to behold. Way off in the distance you can see the light pollution from Tuba City which is about 60 miles from where we were.

I've got lots of photos to process from this most recent adventure...I've actually still got lots to process from our previous adventure to Sedona!
