2012 Annular Solar Eclipse in-front of my friends house at Redondo beach, California.
we are actually coming back from a weekly long Yosemite National Park camping trip and I basically have 5 minutes to set up my tripod before the Solar Eclipse started, no time to find a better location without those power line but we are trill to spend hours on watching almost the entire once-a-life-time solar eclipse!

After the annular eclipse. Calatrava Bridge, Redding California. The eclipse was stunning, inexorable: a ring of fire surrounded the moon. I felt like I was outside of time. the light was like nothing I had seen before. I wasn't ready for it.

Cámara montada en tripié, zona creativa, modo Av, disparó con ISO 1600, F5.7, 1"seg., compensación +1 2/3, i-Contrast alto, zoom 31X digital. Recorté la foto al máximo para ampliar la estrella, ver mejor las irradiaciones y dar la sensación de lo que es, una super gigante azul.
NO SE USÓ TELESCOPIO, NO SE MODIFICARON LOS COLORES, NO SE INTERPUSIERON FILTROS.
Adhara (Épsilon Canis Majoris /21 Canis Majoris), Posee la designación Bayer «Épsilon», quinta letra del alfabeto griego, a pesar de ser la segunda más brillante en su constelación y una de las más brillantes del cielo nocturno. Su principal significado es «flor de azahar», Adhara es una estrella binaria distante 405 años luz del Sol. La estrella principal es una supergigante azul o gigante luminosa3 de tipo espectral B2Iab.

I traveled to Arizona this May to photograph the annular solar eclipse, and chose the Wukoki Pueblo in Wupatki National Monument as the setting, since it was in the narrow line where the eclipse was visible in its totality. An eclipse is a rather slow progression, so I occasionally removed the solar filter from my lens to capture some of the people who'd climbed the pueblo to view the eclipse.
