in case budget is an issue then you can opt for 18-55 and 55-250. It will come under your budget and and a good lens..

you may check 3rd party lenses as well like sigma / tamron. Sigma have 18-200 and tamron have 18-270 with IS. These are around 30K.

hie :) maestros wass up ;) i know this thread has not been active since 5 months though i need to ask u guys smthing :) plz, suggest me any entry level DSLR in the budget ( well i dn't know that :P) as per my investigation i came around with the choices like nikon d3100 and canon 550d(my fav ;) ) since i m clicking( at least try to click) from last two years and using canon point and shoot bt now i feel to upgrade myself so plz suggest me something :)
NOTE- i don't want to use 18-55 bec it will pose limit on me.i conclude canon EF-s 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS for myself, obviously if i m going for canon, bt that cost me around 50k ;( and for that i have to wait another 2 to 3 months. Also tell me if i can use any other type of combination rather than 18-135 :)
OR should i buy 18-55 and then use 55-250 with it ??? kya yrr mai bhut confussed hun :P

On the occasion of World Photography Day (19th August, 2012, Sunday) CFC is planning to spend the day at some Old-Age Home (Most Likely, the one in sector 15, Chandigarh). It is being planned that we all will contribute money and buy the things required at the Old Age Home and give it there. We will spend some quality time with elderly people there, talk to them, take their portraits, which can be printed out and gifted to them. Kindly confirm who all are interested to participate for the same, so that further necessary actions can be taken. Maximum participation is looked forward to.
