I noticed that a few folk have got some pics of inside empty Woolies stores.

I not sure if these people were ex-employees of the chain, but how much of a chance I can have if I asked my local Woolies to come in and take pictures (if there is anyone inside it, the lights are always on)

It will be extremely useful for my 365 project, where I take at least one photo per day for the rest of 2009.

thanks in advance.

LOL! To be honest, I don't remember the last time I bought any pix & mix, as I'd prefer a bar of chocolate!! I usually used our biggest Woolies as a cut through to the indoor shopping arcade, and for a warm up (it was always extremely hot - that's probably where they went wrong - wasted too much money on their bills!!) I think the last thing I bought was two bottles for one, Coca Colas!!

Well the biggest pick and mix shop has gone into administration. Come one now, how many times did you go to Woolies with something particular in mind.... the way you do if you went to HMV for a CD or the way you went to Currys for an electircal item ! It's no surprise they folded really... even I wouldn't go out hunting for a big bag of pick and mix (too expensive, lol) and I love sweets >_<
