Hello, my name is Steve. I'm a 58 year old ex-pat from Manchester now living in San Antonio TX. I work for an asset tracking company and my job has me travelling a lot.

I was originally a Sparky on Super Tankers then worked for a company called Babcock Bristol down mines and in power stations. I don't have any photos from that period but have never lost my interest in power generation.

I just enjoyed looking through the photos posted here in this group, some amazing work. I'm happy to have found y'all.

Hi I'm Claire. Thanks for inviting me, had no idea there was a group like this so my pic was well named and it didnt really have a place to go on flickr until now. DAMS AND HYDROELECTRIC POWER

Entries will be limited to 25 posted in this thread because both Generators' eyes become detached from their brains if they are expected to look at more than 25 images in a row.

Rules:
1) All entries must be in the group pool - DON'T POST HERE BEFORE BEING ACCEPTED IN THE GROUP POOL.
2) Poster's original work only
3) One entry per member - members only
4) Post in MEDIUM size - we want a good look.
5) Number each entry following the previous one - e.g. #1, #2 and so on
6) Entrants are committed to vote in the final judging or their entries will be invalid - all other members are permitted and encouraged to vote.

Remember - first 25 only! And in any case we will finish on 31 March (because I've got the glimmering of a dastardly idea!)
