SUBLIME STRUCTURE featuring Romantic Deadpan

'Photographs make the grand trivial and the trivial grand'
- Sol Lewitt

Conception "Photoplastik" Photosculpture
Taking a sculpture rather than making a sculpture.
Representing objects that are not in fact sculptures but as if they were the result of a sculptural intention, a striving for sculptural form.
- Tobia Bezzola

Guide lines
Photographic recordings should be reminiscent of the picturesque - toward painting and its depiction of the monumental. Images should invoke a fusion of the 1970's New Topographic photographers and their 'man altered landscapes' with the contemplation of Romanticism. The vulnerability association with the sublime need only be a momentary allusion to the aesthetic notion, here humor is our God.
So photos in this group are less likely to be candid or overly busy images (therefore composed with a focal subject). To keep it interesting structures should include more than just buildings, postings need only conjure the appearance of the monumental and pictorial sublime. No cheesy, no busy, no obvious - no problems.

Ideas for image ingredients
1. A generous portion of formal properties
- Maybe introduce some flavors with a sprinkling of spatial representation and compositional arrangement that elevates the 'mundane'.

2. Induce your formal properties with aesthetic qualities reminiscent of sculpture (so no actual sculpture unless you are confident with your cooking times)

3. Sprinkle atmospheric flavors of light and introspection before placing in the oven.

Additional Ingredients
Further ideas for flavour: the ethereal, artificial, alchemy, melancholy, intervention, verisimilitude
Further preparation considerations: Binocular to monocular - elevating the appearance of three dimensions within a two dimensional space.

Serving
Take from your oven and simmer before dishing up to the group
Any structure that maybe lacking in ingredients or cooking time for this recipe will be removed from the group - only to keep a reasonable amount of consistency, its not a power thing I promise.

If this all sounds a bit odd then to get a better idea of the flavor required for this dish (sorry couldn't resist) then please look through the group.
