Right first of all i'm not sure how to link everything up but the winners are as follows....

Runner up goes to Therainandtherollercoaster. I liked the creativity in this scene ,the depth of field,compostiion and the leading lines that draw you into the picture .

The winner i chose is dougsphoto.net

i picked this one as it reminds me of a scene out of a film.
I like how the street is quiet also showing a bit of festiveness with the hanging wreaths and the red from the wreaths draw you in to the picture.

Well done everybody else who entered. All great entries.

This week's theme can be interpreted in many ways; photographically, metaphorically or spiritually. So let us see your most fun and creative interpretations of Near and Far.

Remember no words!

Submissions for this round of competition should be posted as discussion on THIS thread, and should a small sized photo as described in the INSTRUCTIONS.

Entries from your photostream will be accepted.

This competition will run for ONE WEEK from NOW to May 27th 2013.
And ONE entry per person please.
