By far, the "Original 1960s" group is my favorite group. Photos from the 1960s seem to evoke the greatest melancholy. As I grew up in the 1960s, photos from that era remind me of: "The good 'ole days!"

Hello,

I see that this group very wisely forbids its members from posting anything that may be in coyright.

However, we have uploaded a great deal of material that we have either obtained the copyright or secured written permission to use it in our photostream (alongside of course much that is our own or now out of copyright).

Will the group Mods/Admins let us know if they are happy to post these images here - all our uploads are carefully described and we note copyrigth holders etc.

If asked, I bet your Uncle would want his work to find a new and appreciative audience through Flickr. I also think he would enjoy getting full credit for his efforts. He might even find it cathartic and liberating to have a venue to express opinions about his photographs and the work of others. With his own Flickr account, he can feature his favorite photos in the Dead Photographers Club and help to start a movement that other dead photographers will no doubt join.

I noticed this group's photo collection includes pictures taken by someone who is probably dead. As a dead photographer myself, I would ask that you encourage them to create their own free Flickr account and post their photos to the Dead Photographers Club, a group administered by the dead for the dead and their favorite photographs.

The rules are simple and the purpose noble. Join the rest of us "flatlinners" and you will get the credit you deserve while making a statement with your photos. We will not be forgotten!
