I just added 6 images to the group and I felt I should explain the cold as in some ways the pictures don't tell the entire story.

In one shoot I'd been trying for every day for a month to shoot a mountain reflected in a small lake. On each day I would find it too windy or the mountain would be shrouded in cloud. Finally I woke to perfect conditions but the shallow lake had frozen overnight. I decided there was no other option but to wade in and break the ice then move it out of the frame. Half an hour was spent moving that ice but the excitement of the coming sunrise meant I didn't feel the cold.

There are other pictures where the wind and rain have continually battered me whilst I've stuck in my tent for as long as a week in one place trying to take the shot. Anyway I think it all worthwhile. I hope the shots are worthy of the group.
