Hey! That's when we were first turned on to the one of the most MIND BLOWING bands in the world! We have seen them somewhere between eight and ten times...we've lost count, but every single USA tour except for the one they did about two years ago...they weren't able to get to Minneapolis for that one and Edward told me last night that it wasn't there choice...they really would have liked to stop here.

We love everything Sir Prophet Edward Ka-spel has ever graced! We really love his work with Tear Garden. LOVE LOVE LOVE to LPD!!!!

I personally was first introduced to the music of the LPD in 1986 or '87 when Edward toured as the opening act for Skinny Puppy.

I didn't know who he was or anything about the Pink Dots. Unfortunately I don't remember anything about the songs he performed, but he had me riveted.

It took me about two years to track down any of his records in those pre-internet days...a trip to Cleveland (from Akron, where I grew up) resulted in finding "Khataclimici China Doll" and that Edward was a member of The Legendary Pink Dots. After the first listen (and the subsequent three or four replays that night) I was hooked. We drove back up to Cleveland the next day and I bought "The Golden Age". "The Tower" & "Stone Circles"
