We have always had cats throught our married life. (see my previous post from a year ago above) However two years ago we sold our house, bought an RV and live & travel fulltime in our RV. We took our two old friends, Simba & Minou with us but after they both passed due to old age we decided to not get another cat.
WRONG!!!
After about four months we broke down and adopted a lovely little black & white kitten. He weighed 4 lbs. at the time and now one year later tips the scale at 16 lbs.
We named him Nasdaq because we thought we'd invest in a cat.

Palomita got her name because she used to jump alot when she was a kitten. Palomita means "popcorn" in Spanish.

Pixels is a bit more obvious. She got her name becuase of all of the spots and splotches of colour she has. It's a geeky name and it stuck.

Buster is named after Buster Keaton because of his huge feet and comedy pratfalls. Boo was named Sterling when I adopted him. He was so shy when I first brought him home that he did nothing but hide under the bed for two weeks, only coming out at night to eat. I mentioned to one friend that it was "worse than trying to make Boo Radley come out" (from To Kill a Mockingbird). All of my friends agreed that Boo Radley was a better name for him than Sterling.

Our Minou was given to us by a French Canadian acquaintance. We are told that it means "Pussy cat" in French.

When our children were small a friend named Lee gave us a Siamese kitten. I wanted to name him "Lee" after our friend but the kids wanted to call him "Sam". So for a while he went by the name of "Lee-Sam" which evolved into "Li-san" (sounded very oriental to us). Li-san was a treasured member of our household till passing from kidney failure at 16 years.

My two are called Macleash and Milly - brother and sister about 7 months old now.

They were born the day if my Gran's funeral, so Macleash is so named as that was here maiden name, and Milly was her nickname as a child.
