Photos are nice. I have not done photo shoots with others there being a pain. But most of my work is editing. I have had to deal with people that know nothing trying to tell me what to do when they have no idea what can be done. The other one is that if i am told the sort of reaction you want or imprecation you want to give to a photo edit, I have a nack of seeing it as the third party, where often the editor can not because their 'view' is coloured by so many things. this often happens with product or political photos, I cut my teeth on protest/political related editing where no one was looking over my shoulder and people just saw the resaults (both of the pics and peoples reactions). Then I had to deal with PEOPLE LOOKING OVER MY SHOULDER, that sucked for a while. at least with editing you can do 2 versions, mine and theirs and warn them why theirs may not work. After a while those people learned i was right, because the reactions to 'their version' were as i stated. Now only new clients not recommended by a past client are are pain to deal with.

in closing I would suggest, set boundaries, politely enforce them but in a nice way point out the they do not interfere until asked and any action goes through you (they come to you not the model).

you just have to follow them....try your best to work under pressure....good luck and maybe get another photographer / assistant with you...

on the last photo, that for me is my favorite but the light hitting the model is too harsh, was that really your intention?? maybe you should have lessened the power of the flash...just my 2 cents
