Todo viene a raíz de escuchar la canción (In the House, In a Heartbeat) del compositor de BSO John Murphy. Me inspiro, de alguna forma, fue la semilla de este deseo. En el cual he pretendido denunciar a las guerras en general y recordar a los injustos que las sufren. Tratar de evidenciar los intereses, políticos, religiosos y económicos que se forman siempre alrededor de las hostilidades ha sido otro de los objetivos. Aunque, está ambientado en el contexto del reciente conflicto Libio, bien podría encajar en cualquier otro conflicto bélico de nuestro saturado pasado.

Everything comes as a result of listening to the song (In the House, In a Heartbeat) soundtrack composer John Murphy. I am inspired in some way, was the seed of this desire. In which I have tried to denounce the war in general and remember the unjust suffering that. Trying to show interest, political, religious and economic changes that are always around hostilities has been another goal. Although it is set in the context of recent Libyan conflict could well fit in any other war in our past saturated.

Intercultural Swap

The coexistence group is arranging an intercultural swap.

Send me your snail mail address. In return I send you the address of someone who you have to send a package to. The package should contain stuff from your life, magazine cuttings, snapshots, chocolate, little trinkets and bits and peices which you feel communicates the flavour of your cultural environment. In addition personal items such as notes, poems, letters would be good. Be imaginateve, invest some time into this, you will be recieving a package too so the more effort we put into this as a group, the more we will all be rewarded.

Please note that the exchange partners will be selected on a semi-ranom, semi-fixed basis. Although you will essentially have a partner drawn out of a hat, I will be trying to make sure that there is as much cross cultural exchange as possible. Also be aware that the person you send a package to wont nessicarily be the person who you recieve one from.

I think it would be a fantastic idea if we could all add our images to the time capsule so that everyones contributions are preserved for years to come.

I hope you could all contribute.
