Fotowedstrijd Brusselse kanaalzone - Concours photo zone du Canal de Bruxelles

Het kanaal is een metafoor voor de problemen van Brussel, maar ook voor het potentieel om iets aan die problemen te doen. We nodigen de Brusselaars uit om tegen de stroom in te gaan door met een foto van de Brusselse kanaalzone hun toekomstverhaal voor het kanaal te vertellen.

Fotowedstrijd Brusselse kanaalzone - "Tegen de stroom in". Inzendingen tot 31 augustus 2011.
Deelname is gratis, maximum 3 foto's (zwart-wit of kleur) per deelnemer.
Er zijn mooie prijzen te winnen: de beste foto’s worden vereeuwigd op postkaartjes en in een tentoonstelling. Er zijn ook (foto)boeken te winnen en alle ingezonden foto’s worden gebundeld op een website. Le canal constitue une métaphore des problèmes de notre ville, mais également de la possibilité de résoudre ces problèmes. Nous invitons les Bruxellois à nager à contrecourant en donnant leur vision de l’avenir de la zone du Canal de Bruxelles par le biais d’une photo.

Concours photo Zone du Canal de Bruxelles - "A contre-courant". Envois jusqu’au 31 août 2011.
La participation est gratuite, maximum 3 photos (noir et blanc ou couleurs) par participant.
De magnifiques prix sont mis en jeu: les meilleurs photos seront immortalisées sur des cartes postales et feront l’objet d’une exposition. Les prix comprennent également des livres (photos) et toutes les photos envoyées seront regroupées sur un site web. In today's world, a world, where everything is accelerated, „velocity“ has become a social value.
Instead of writing a letter, we send SMS.
Instead of cooking, we buy fast food.
Instead of visiting a Museum, we recieve art at the drive-in.
We recieve art at the drive-in?
Yes.
In making our project, we try to carry the phenomenon of „velocity“ to extremes.
Instead of decelerating, we accelerate.
The communication between gallery owner and client is reduced to the minimum.
The artwork is given away.
The payment process is removed.
It is up to the new owner to determine the value of the recieved artwork.
The result is food for thought.
Is it time for a step backwards?

Our concept is to collect artworks, created by artists from all over the world and to give them away at a "drive-in" to carry the phenomenon of „velocity“ to extremes and to animate a rethinking of the current situation.

"Art-To-Go" takes place at the Perffusion Art Festival 2011 in Strasbourg, France.

Deadline is 31st august 2011, contributions that arrive later can not be considered.
Please add to your artwork a short curriculum vitae, that should, at least, include following informations:
Name and Home Country.
Canvas and Cardboards should not be bigger that 40cm x 50cm, artworks made on paper, that can be wound-up can be bigger, too.
You can send stickers, too.

In der heutigen Welt, einer Welt in der alles beschleunigt ist, hat sich die Geschwindigkeit zu einem sozialen Wert entwickelt.
Statt einen Brief zu schreiben, schicken wir eine SMS.
Statt zu kochen, kaufen wir Fastfood.
Statt ein Museum zu besuchen, nehmen wir Kunst am „Drive-In“ Schalter mit.

Ja.
Mit unserem Projekt versuchen wir das Phänomen „Geschwindigkeit“ auf die Spitze zu treiben.
Statt zu entschleunigen, beschleunigen wir.
Die Kommunikation zwischen Galerist und Kunde wird auf das Minimum reduziert.
Die Kunst wird verschenkt.
Der Zahlvorgang entfällt.
Es ist dem neuen Besitzer selbst überlassen, die Wertigkeit des erstandenen Werkes zu bestimmen.
Die Folge ist ein Denkanstoß.
Ist es Zeit für den Schritt zurück?

Das Konzept unserer Aktion ist es, Werke von Künstlern aus der ganzen Welt zu sammeln und an einem Drive-In Stand zu verschenken, um das Phänomen der "Geschwindikeit" in der Gesellschaft auf die Spitze zu treiben und zum Nachdenken zu animieren.

Dies geschieht im Rahmen des Festival Perffusion 2011 in Strasbourg, Frankreich

Indem ihr an unserem Projekt teilnehmt, habt ihr die Möglichkeit an einer neuartigen Form der "Free Art" teilzunehmen und Teil einer Aktion zu sein, die während des Perffusion Festivals, organisiert von "Démocratie Creative" www.democratiecreative.com/ abläuft.

Deadline ist der 31.08.2011, Beiträge die nach der Deadline eintreffen können leider nicht mehr berücksichtigt werden!
Bitte fügt eurem Werk einen kurzen Lebenslauf hinzu, der zumindest folgende Daten enthalten sollte:
Name und Heimatland.
Leinwände und Kartons dürfen nicht größer als 40cm x 50cm sein, Werke auf Papier, die gerollt werden können, dürfen diese Maße auch überschreiten, ihr könnt auch gerne Sticker schicken.

Dans le monde d'aujourd'hui, une monde, dans laquelle tout est accélérée, la vitesse est devenu une valeur sociale.
Au lieu de écrire une lettre, nous envoyons un SMS.
Au lieu de cuisiner, nous visitons un fast-food.
Au lieu de visiter un musée, nous recevions l'art dans le drive-in.

Oui.
Avec notre projet, nous essayons de pousser le phénomène „vitesse“ dans l'extrême.
Au lieu de lever le pied, nous accélérons.
La communication entre le galeriste et le client est reduit au minimum.
L'art est donner aux passants.
L'acte de paiement est supprimé.
Le nouveau proprietaire peut definir le valeur de son nouveau œuvre d'art soi-même.
La suite est une incitation à réflechir.
Est-ce que c'est le moment pour nous reculer un peu?

Le concept de notre action, c'est de collecter des œuvres d'artistes de tout le monde et de les faire cadeau dans un guichet drive-in pour pousser le phénomène „vitesse“ dans l'extrême et pour faire les passants réflechir.

L'action se déroule dans le Festival Perffusion 2011 à Strasbourg.
