The photograph was taken in Singapore. Insects were found on Dillenia suffruticosa leaves.

So my qustion is: Is one supposed to know the specie when posting? Or are you a lot out there who enjoys to put names on unnamed photos.

This week was very important for the conservation of the Jima Tambillo forest. With the new road being built close to the reserve, we had to face the invasion of many people trying to get land and stealing orchids inside the reserve. We had to fight very hard to kick them out with the help of the Ministry of the Environment of Morona Santiago, Ecuador.

With the very few resources that we have, we had to fight against the invaders and their power. Sometimes they were very aggressive, but finally, we did it. Now they are out of the reserve. But we will have to plan a new control system for the reserve. Unfortunately, we do not have enough economical resources. We need your help to save this amazing Rainforest and Páramo.

This time we were lucky enough to stop the forest destruction. We have the conviction that WITH YOUR HELP we will be able to save it. We are photographers and we love nature, lets give nature a chance to survive !.
