My wife and I last september travelled to little fishing communities from Richibuctou N.B to Liverpool N.S. So mostly in Nova Scotia.

I do not qualify as an exceptionnal photographer but as a painter I have a
trained eye for beauty.

I hope to complete in years to come the circuit around N.S and N.B, Atlantic coast Bay of Fundy and North East N.B. for a nearly complete album . That since I missed several picturesque coves and harbours.

I suggest a new reference group for marine artists and seascapes of Eastern Canada.

My family and I are driving to Nova Scotia next week. We'll be staying in Digby, Grand Pre, and Lunenburg. I realize this is an impossibly broad question, but I was wondering if anyone had any specific advice for me. Things like..."stay away from Peggy's Cove at lunchtime - too many tourists", or "sunset is best here, or sunrise"...or anything like that?
It all looks so beautiful, I think it'll be hard NOT getting some nice pics, I just thought if anyone had any real-life lessons for me. Thanks in advance...

If you took the time to read the lengthy "About" information introducing this group, you will understand that my hope is that some promotion of the group might take place with the use of flickr badges and widgets. This might be on your flickr profile, within another flickr group, on your own website or elsewhere on the web. One reason why submissions to the group are moderated is to manage the content to prevent inappopriate images from surfacing where the badges and widgets are displayed.

If you have made the effort to promote the group elsewhere, with one of the mentioned tools, or even with a text link, then you might as well gain some credit for your support and show us where. Stick a link to the page in this thread.

One of the aims of this group is to provide exposure to your photography. It is hoped that people with an interest in Nova Scotia photography will find your photos here and maybe a sale or two will come your way as a result.

Take the opportunity in this thread to show us more.

If you have:

- a travel photography website
- a Nova Scotia gallery on your website
- a flickr collection or set devoted to Nova Scotia
- you get the idea

then point us to it and, if you like, tell us about your travel photography.
