Currently exhibiting at;

Born in Kansas City, Missouri. Cristiano Valverde a Midwestern young man at age of seventeen began to teach himself how to paint. At age of eighteen he began exhibiting work. On January 9th 2009 he held his first Solo exhibition at the Aquarius Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri. September 7th 2009 he held his second Solo exhibition at MLI Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri.

At the age of nineteen he had been exhibited with artists like Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Leonardo da Vinci, Joan Miro, Robert Rauschenberg and Max Ernst. In two years Cristiano has been exhibited in 27 exhibitions.

Today, he works, living in Lake Ozark, Missouri. His work is coloring ground reaching, growing abroad around the world. Work has been requested from Collectors from countries all over the world; Italy, Bosnia, Poland, Mexico, Cuba, Egypt, United States, Australia, New Zealand, China, Germany, Iceland, Canada among others.

I know that Mandy wrote the post above me like 32 months ago but I was wondering if she still feels the same way about the Celebrating Women pool? I think that faux pin ups are cool because they celebrate the feminine powers that still hold true to this day. By imitating, we flatter, by flattering, we celebrate? I don't know.... just a thought from an open minded female photographer in Oakland, California. If you're still here Mandy Sue, I'd love to know your thoughts.

Thank you for setting up this group! I am a female photographer and have always been inspired by the theme Celebrating Women. I have even done a show called that while I went to San Francisco State University. Anyway, I would hope to see some wonderful images and hope that you all take time to look through mine.

There have been several complaints about this issue, and I will take a look into it and try to keep this group so that it is truly 'celebrating women' and their beauty without any vulgarities. "scantily clad women in provocative poses' can be deemed as a celebration of women and beauty and sexuality and I will not censor them. However, there have been a lot of pictures of women that offer nothing to this group, and those pictures will be taken down. If there are anymore questions or comments, feel free to send me a message. Thank you ladies for bringing this issue up.

Yeah, that bothers me too. I post pictures that highlight strong, proud women, and am disappointed when I stop by and see nothing but scantily clad women in provocative poses, and men devaluing them with misogynistic comments.

I am not a prude but am disapointed at the heavy sex-oriented comments I find here. Are there no other groups for that type of humourless, totally unclassy words ?OR, if this is the orientation you want, then why do you not put in clearly in the rules ?
