I wrote an article about something called FOCC (Flax Oil and Cottage Cheese). Mixed all together it REALLY tastes good. Since we started eating it, we have been giving our animals small doses. Their coats have ALL gotten better and they seem to feel better.

Kodi, my black pom, now has an enlarged heart and we are giving them all larger doses for their health. I was wondering if some would like to try it and let me know if it does anything for them?

I have a Maltese that has traveled with me on Continental several times. The rule is your "fur"kid has to stay in his carrier under the seat during the total flight. I have found stewardesses that will look the other way, after making sure it is okay with adjacent passengers, if a little dog is under a blanket on your lap. The one four-hour-leg of a flight on which the stewardess was not flexible, I sat bent over with my fingers in the carrier holes touching Scooter. He is 15 years old, deaf and pretty much blind. My back was killing me by the time we landed but at least my baby was comforted.

Our main mode of travel though, is on Harley's. Scooter travels in the t-bag on the back of my bike. When he is not sleeping he sticks his head up to feel the wind and smell whatever is in the air.

We lost my husband's travel buddy, Tinker, a black pomeranian last summer and have since adopted Romeo. Romeo is an adorable little Shih-Tzu who is learning to ride. He is doing great on Dean's bike and will be ready for our ride from Texas to Oregon by June.

Hello Group,

I want to start a post regarding our pets traveling with us. Alot of people I know including myself; are very interested in traveling with our pets. There is too much conflicting information during internet searches that it becomes a headache. I have travelled with my dog (Pomeranian 16lbs.) when I've been lucky enough to get on a private flight with friends etc. Obviously, this is not a cheap way to travel and definantly not pratical. There are alot of people that want to hear what you have to say about your travel experiences, airlines that were great with pets traveling in the cabin with you, cruises, hotels etc.

Please tell others about your experience so we can share this information with each other in this great forum called Flickr. If you know of any cruise friendly ships, great hotels, etc. please share any and all information!

It's a great place for small dogs to make new friends with other dogs!!
