I'm a local resident and regular dog walker around the campus, usually with my camera. I have recently been concentrating on the steel sculptures, an exercise in photographing the same subject in different lights and from different perspectives, for the digital photography course I'm doing at the Metropolitan college.

Strathclyde University Snowsports Club have arranged for 22 tonnes of snow to be delivered to Rottenrow Gardens, at the heart of the Strathclyde campus, on Wednesday 24th February.

The team will be competing against skiers and snowboarders from all over the country in a Rail Jam competition – it should be quite a spectacle!

Warm-ups will take place from 3-5pm, with the Rail Jam happening from 5-7pm. We’re hoping to get a big crowd, so please join us to support Team Strathclyde (perhaps come along after work?)

There is an open category in the competition for non-students, so if you’re brave enough to take part, send an email to committee@strathsnow.org. And if you’re on Facebook, check out the event page at www.facebook.com/search/?flt=1&q=snowsports&o=69&...

Hey, i graduated in 2008 with an MEng in Aero Mechanical. Got asked to add some photos from an unofficial weight lifting comp run by a lecturer Charlie Ford. That was a good while ago now, just started using my profile again. Got alot of catchin up to do.

Hi Guys,

My company does the photography for the Great Run and Swim events and we would like to use local photographers. So in that respect if anyone fancies coming to take photos at the Great Scottish Swim in Strathclyde Country Park on Saturday 29th August ; I am currently looking half a dozen digital photographers who will be paid for their time on the day. We are looking for those who can supply their own equipment - DSLR 8megapixel or above with at lens in the region of 100-150mm; we will provide the all the media for the day. It should be good fun, and an opportunity to try out paid photography. If you are interested please send me a message.
