Former Mustang Andy Fantuz becomes Chicago Bear

I heard this morning that Andy Fantuz became a Chicago Bear. I have shot a few photos of Fantuz, and I thought I would share my favourite one from the Homecoming game in his last season (2005). It is in the pool somewhere too.

Congrats Andy!

If anyone else has any Fantuz images perhaps they should post them in this thread too.

So, what do you think of the changes made by Flickr to their site? Anything you've been waiting for (I love that you can go through photos with the arrow keys instead of clicking, like Facebook).

Something I don't like is how the titles are below images now and not on top.

That's why we're going to start issuing photo challenges from time to time to see your best shots of Western students, campus, affliates, clubs, and happenings.

Our second challenge is pretty easy too!

What is your favourite building on campus?
Take and post a picture of your favourite building on campus. Make sure that you post the reason you've chosen it as your #1 building in the description. Then, make sure you tag the photo with westernphotochallenge2 so others can find it!

This challenge will run for two weeks, ending April 10, 2009. Post as often as you like and ask your friends to join in the fun!

Give it your best shot

Hospitality Services is offering an opportunity for amateur shutterbugs on campus to put their best work on display.

The 'Give Us Your Best CAMPUS Shot' photo contest invites the campus community to showcase original images in the new Support Services Building.

The objective is to promote original imagery unique to Western that highlights and defines our campus. All members of the Western community are welcome to participate.

The contest runs Jan. 26 to Feb. 27 and there are prizes for finalists.

Along the way, organizers are hoping for the unexpected - off-the-beaten-track images that highlight some of our better kept secrets.
