However, it was not written by Andy Rooney. The true author is Frank Kaiser. (I HIGHLY recommend reading the original!)

Susan Reimer of The Baltimore Sun was one of the first to bring the true author to light in this amusing article, written in 2003.

And the "sausage" line is not in the original article. :-)

This is the title of an amazing new film about women in the arts, who also have families! Check out the link to the previews here: www.whodoesshethinksheis.net/

It's a very positive film by and for those of us who have been living what is often referred to, by those (including myself under the username: la femme artiste) who find the film, and often relate their initial impressions, as "living in territory that has never had a map" or "traveling solo without a compass!"

Many ages of women are included in this very inclusive film about women in the arts with families!

Apologies for the late reply. I sent you an email about it. Although most of your pictures are aproved, they don't show up in the group. Maybe you should check if your photostream is "over 18". This group admits safe and moderate pictures. I can't think of other reason.

BTW, your pictures are great and we'd love to have them in the group.

aloha. i've got many wonderful photos of our (Elise and my) students. We have many students, who are vibrant, intelligent, over-40 women doing art process and making their personal masks of self discovery and self empowerment. Many of the masks are about "Spirit Guides" "Ancestors", or the "Inner Healer/Warrior". I feel these women must share their stories of inspiration..... "Embracing Life" would be a wonderful venue for sharing them.

I've been invited by cxwww a number of times to add certain photos to the group. Somehow, these photos are not making it through onto your group site?
Is there anything I should do to make it successful? Please let me know.

Actually women over 40 are fantastic ! We just try to find them in flickr... not an always easy task ;-)
