Nope, they are in. Sound has to be recorded along with the visuals, whatever the sound is. I guess this group may have to soon become more strict but for now, no.

I love this. It fits with a lot of what I've been wanting to do with video.

(just to clarify -- because I'm sick and it hit my brain cells hardest -- *live* ambient sound, captured while filming, that's good *here*, right? that's what I've been looking to do, so I hope so!)

What a great idea!

I've yet to upload any video because I've never used the video setting on my camera.

But, when it was added to Flickr, I suddenly began envisioning a whole new way of seeing the world. It has really broadened my artistic thinking.

This group sounds perfect for me.

That works. Another idea is to start composing photos based on an aesthetic for the ambient sound alone, or for both the visual and sound, or to make them in opposition.

what about videos where sound has been captured along with the video, but both audio and video have been dramatically slowed down, while remaining parallel?
