Thanks for the links, Ryan. I gave the ReadWriteWeb author a few tips for her article, and one of my toss shots. Still didn't quite capture it, but close. Checked out the Nikon patent...the camera, if it ever comes to market, may be better for the aerial portraits than for the light art end of things. Time will tell.

Although afaik the concept Nikon is going for is more along the lines of the thrown-aerial aesthetic... but if they included enough manual options I'm sure other forms would be possible too.

It is just a patent, who knows if we will ever see an actual camera that uses it. But does make me think I should have patented such enhancement ideas eons ago. LOL.
