C.Lee did not have much of a trade potential since he was not under contract past 2010. That is not to say that Jack Z does not make a slew of poor decisions, but the C. Lee situation was damned from when we first aquired him since he did not want to be in Seattle to begin with.

Have faith in Jack Z, I'm sure he knows more than you do.
You can't judge a hitter off BA alone, Smoak has a strong potential to be a great player who is under club control for another 6 years. Why don't we see what kind of player he turns into before comparing Zduriencik to He Who Must Not Be Named.

Hello Everyone,

Here we go again and again. We trade great "major leaguers" and get potential major leaguers. What's up with that ?

When a team has won a championship and they retain the majority of there players, then you look to build a FARM. When you want to win and have excellent pitching and no hitting (for power) and you get farm prospects that bat .209 in the minors something's wrong with management. Jackie Z started out good, but now looks like an uneducated GM, just like our last GM.

The Rangers are finiancially broke and don't care, they want a championship with there current team. Jackie Z should have traded C. Lee 2 months ago for a V. Gueraerro, J Hamilton, or another power hitter, or player that above 300 for a pitcher like C Lee.

Jackie Z failed us.

Hello Everyone,

Ok this should absolutely show that my true heart is in baseball as I will probably be the only Yankee fan here. Being one since birth (Grandfather's influence) this year is a special memorable year as you know with the last season in Yankee Stadium.

Why am I here posting? Well, I have asked Everywhere Mag if they would consider publishing an issue including all of the ballparks so I encourage you to sign up and add Safeco Field and add some shots from this great ballpark. If you are like me you have this "road trip dream" to get to every stadium in this lifetime. Now that I have kids it will make it even more fun but more costly so whatever means I can live vicariously until then I welcome.

There are some great images in this group and they should reach as many baseball fans as they can and most importantly there isn't a location listed for Safeco Field on Everywhere Mag, so be the first to add it and images!

I contributed an essay to JPG and was mentioned on the JPG blog as well as the Gothamist for some of my B&W Yankee Stadium shots.

Heres to a very hopeful and awesome series of games together - cheers!
