The Melrose Trading Post in Los Angeles, CA is quite beautiful, though I've yet to take my camera there. All of my flea market pics are from the Santa Monica/Mar Vista Antique Market, which is every first and last Sunday of every month...Super fun!

Ooooohh ... Debbie C.B.'s is right! I just got a 2 door, glass front curio cabinet from the 30's (glass intact), a beautiful beveled mirror, 2 old split oak baskets, and a walnut empire side chair with a needlepoint seat, all along side the road bearing a hand-lettered "Free" sign.

I loved the Brixton Flea Market in Brixton, London when I stayed there for awhile in 1984. Their prices were dirt cheap and it was never on the list of flea markets in London so it was small and not picked over. I used to get really great 50's and 60's mid-century modern ceramics there for less than $1 each. From what I can tell from the internet, it's no longer there though and the market is remodeled and is now only food and swap meet-type stalls.

The Wolff's Flea Market in Rosemont, IL (just outside of Chicago). It's an outdoor market in an arena parking lot during the summer. Great finds always make it exciting.

I don't know if it's the best flea market I ever saw, but I'm rather fond of Spences Bazaar in Dover, Delaware. It's been around for decades and is still going strong (outdoors) two days a week year round! They also have a Pennsylvania Dutch farmers market attatched. What I love about it is that it's dirt cheap and I'm the only one looking for my brand of cool stuff...
