It means that the person in question has something to lose,
It comes from the saying
"people who have cocoa in the sun always on the look out for rain"
(because the rain will spoil the cocoa that has been put out in the sun to dry)

I would say the Caroni Bird Sanctuary and Asa Wright Nature Reserve are two places to see also. The turtles are a good outing - you need to organize passes these days. Have a read here.

hi folks. My fiance and I will be going to Trinidad on our Honeymoon in May of this year (about 6 weeks from now) I'm curious if anyone can recommend anything we should check out, tours we should take, things we have to see.

My fiance is a herpetologist (studies reptiles and amphibians) she wants to see leatherback turtles more than anything. from my research I have found that they generally nest on the east coast at night and we happen to be going during peak season. Can anyone tell me where we should go to see them?
