Pushing the button is the final act.

I don't tend to wander round with the camera with a view to taking photos. Sometimes I walk around for hours and never take the camera out of the bag.

Though when I do I usually mean it.

What do I think when I push that button (or lever with some cameras) is often very little. I try not to think too much it interferes with the process :o)

Look first, camera second perhaps is what I'm trying to say.

With monochrome being my favoured medium, I think firstly, will it work in b&w. I do have a finished image in my mind, and sometimes that, and the finished photograph are the same. I also try to stay as true to the feeling of the image, so that maybe the viewer can feel a little bit the way I felt when I pressed the button. Great new group. Happy to support it.
