hi group,

i have 2 memories of Frank Chu that i thought would be nice to share:

1. i once held a copy of his resume. i believe it was either 1998 or 1999, when i worked on main and mission streets. it was typed and had his desired salary listed. not 100% on its authenticity, but my friend said she got it from him, and i believe that.

2. for the period of about one month, in the am's when i would walk to work, when i would see him i would casually say "hi, frank" as i walked on my way. without fail, every time i said hello he would promptly and courteously say "hey" right back to me. we did not talk galaxies.

for me it would be weird to see him in the mission, esp at 12 galaxies. and what a laugh i had when i saw halloween revelers dressed up as him in the 'stro! classic. you know you've made it when you are impersonated in SF on halloween...

Glad you like it.

I picked the base images mostly from here in this group, looking for pix where the sign is big and has full exposure. Also they have to be Creative Commons licensed.

If anyone has more base images they'd like to add to the rotation, just point me at them. It's easy to do.
