hi I'm Elissa Capelle Vaughn, I'm new to flickr and to this group. seems like a great place to share my works with some great people! I've been making art since I was little and went down the self taught route. since i never really did the art class thing too much, my contact with fellow artists have always been online. I really love doing painting and illustration and i do a little textile stuff too. i'm inspired by kids art supplies, saturday morning cartoons, psychedelic and surreal art, architecture and children's book illustration, all kinds of things really. well, i'm babbling on now. i think i'm gonna love this flickr experience, thanks for letting me share my thoughts!

I'm Sarah Sollom, an artist from UK. I paint mainly in acrylics and find that the flickr site is a great place to browse for inspiration. I have had no formal art training and every painting is a journey into the unknown for me.

Hello,

My name is David Reustle from Albuquerque. I make my living as a diesel mechanic. At home I am a sci-fi geek who carves wood. I also use wood burning as an accent to my carving as well as an art too. I have been working with wood since I was 4 years old even though carving is my main focus and my general carpentry skills that I have learned from my dad have been coming more in to play.

I am an elementary teacher of African-American heritage. I have NO formal art training (hence outsider artist). My artwork was created mainly with paper and other usable items. I was inspired to research my heritage and share it through this medium. I am a passionate writer, who decided to use paper, in another form, to express myself through art.
