We are currently in the process of filming a zombie documentary that will encompass a year long zombie road trip across the U.S. We will be interviewing zombies from all over the country about what its like to be a zombie in the United States in the 21st Century. We had a great Zombie Fest in Lincoln this year. There were 5 of the "Walkers" from the TV show The Walking Dead there to be the celebrity judges for our costume/makeup contest.

It was estimated that if you combine the count from ticket sales plus kids 12 and under (who got in free), that we had about 2000 participants.

The 2011 Zombie Walk will be held on Saturday 10-22-11. It will begin at 5:00 PM on the boardwalk.

This year the entire weekend will be an "Undead Festival." Other activities include zombie movies, zombie makeup artists, and appearances from the cast of "Night of the Living Dead."

Is there a formal World Wide Zombie walk day when the undead around the world can rise and walk the streets ?

Something like the first or second Sunday in June ? Easter would be good but to many people doing other stuff and traveling etc to get a really good turnout.

Also the cities are deserted on Easter sunday so walking would not be as much fun :-(
