I just checked - was going to ask mod about posting an event that might be of interest...and saw that there IS no mod. So, I'm posting the info about a free meeting for any who might be interested.

Artists|Makers|Desperadoes Meeting

Free and open to all who have an interest!
We are planning some Late Summer and Fall 2011 meetings in the Plymouth, MA area.

Meet up to plan and partake of collaborative events, group shows, listening parties, cross - genre collusions. Let's lively up ourselves!

Artists, photographers, makers, craftspeople, textile lovers, contemporary and historic - any media and outlook is fine. Bring something that's representative of what you do and/or something to work on.
Come for the whole time or whenever you can make it.

First meeting:
8.23, 6:30PM - 8:30PM/Tues.
Held @ The Plymouth Public Library
132 South St.
Plymouth, MA
Meet in the Fehlow Room

I believe it will soon be converted into condos or a shopping center but will keep its original facade.

You can get some great pictures up and down the side streets, especially in winter.

It's the former Plymouth County Courthouse.
Closed recently.

It's featured briefly in the movie Osmosis Jones.
