Hi everyone,
I am new here I just recently started shooting family and friend mainly newborns in their homes and now people are asking to get portraits or family shots done outdoors at barns etc. Can you give some good advice on finding locations without driving around for hours haha I have one requesting a barn/field do I go and talk to the farmers? Also do you know of any place with open fields and wildflowers. Please help me out I am in the Voorhees area but looking to go anywhere near there.

Extra Eyes Photo is now forming its Photograpy workshop tours division. Website is under construction but you can see the photos from the 18 States we traveled to this year at www.action.photostockplus.com Please let us know of any areas you would like to do a workshop in. We are already scheduling an Acadia National Park tour and a Sedona Arizona/Lake Powell tour. We will also be focusing on NJ Weekend tours and would love to hear opinions.

Wait. Is Flickr not about photography?

I've lived in NJ my entire life, as has my husband, sons, sisters, late brother, parents....and yes, we love this state. But do we not have enough politics shoved down our throats 24/7/365?

Can we not have a place that shows the rest of the world that we are not what the turnpike shows? Holy cow. This is for photographs that depict our state. It is wayyyyyyy over-taxed, yes. But unless you are a complete moron, you do not live in a flood zone. We do not have the catastrophes that many areas have...major earthquakes, snow higher than your front door, forest fires that eliminate towns, mud slides that take away dozens of homes at a time.

This is a wonderful state to live in, if we could only get the taxes down. And if you bought or built a home in a flood zone, I'm sorry, but you should have done your homework instead of hoping for the best and then expecting the rest of your co-insurers to bail you out (pardon the 'bail' pun, not intended).

We have beaches, mountains, state parks, temperate weather, and a lot of yuppies that work in Manhattan, move here, and crash into other people as they talk to their kid's nannies on the cell phone whilst driving. Okay, so shoot them.
