Hello everyone! I'm excited to be here and to see everyone's photos! I've been in SL for over 5 years now, just not under this name. I decided it was time for a new avi and a truly clean slate!

You can ease some of the pain of the awful update.

Sets you can click the chat bubble, then select detail or just add detail to the end of the set url:

www.flickr.com/photos/94340544@N03/sets/72157633204822791...

For photostreams, you can type ?details=1 at the end of the url:

www.flickr.com/photos/94340544@N03/?details=1

Not perfect but I find it less frustrating than the new views.

HI I am Shui and I live in Lunenburg Nova Scotia. It is a beautiful town and is a World Heritage Site. In second live I lave with a wonderful group of friends. Art for me Is a passion and a chore I love to do it but i am driven to do it. Art is like having a mistress that is kind and relentless. I like what I do but i can't go anywhere without looking for and at art.

Howdy, I've been in SL since the end of 2003 as one avatar or another.

I apparently joined this group a good while ago but never posted anything till now while investigating the changes to Flicker. The increased storage space for free accounts makes it worthwhile for the first time for me.

My public avatar goes by my real name, Chuck Baggett. I'm nearing 60, have two grown daughters and a granddaughter.

I spent so much time in Second Life for so long it became somewhat of the same old same old. There's also a problem of having different aspects of yourself that aren't comfortable with each other, expressing them through avatars becomes rather fragmented feeling, and if you aren't careful, you out yourself, which varies from embarrassing to much worse depending on what you've revealed.

Also I used to drink when I did SL and since i had to quit drinking it's not as easy to stay immersed.

Also with age it's just harder to keep up with the chat.

And then I've lost tract of the people I knew as avatars and can't really look for them except as 9 year old avatar, the only one they might remember.
