Been a while since I was here but have done some serious editing. Some of the photos I have removed are great shots - but the sky is not the focus of the picture so they are in the wrong group.

Just a reminder that the emphasis here is on skies!!!!! Some great shots have been posted, but the sky is not the predominent feature - they are pictures with skies in them. Also shots should be natural - please don't post heavily edited shots as they are not what this group is about.

There have been a few posts in the group which really do not belong. They are nice pictures, but they are not special skies. I want to maintain a high quality to the content, so I have removed the least appropriate shots. If one of these is yours, please do not be offended - its just that the sky was not breath-taking.

Hi Im Rachel from suffolk, i love to photograph the local area especially when the skies are interesting, like yesterday there was a storm approaching, the sky looked great. and it hasnt stopped raining here today,
I also visit kent alot as my partner used to live there i often take my camera down to the Medway.

Hi Vicky. Good to hear from you. I have not been here for a couple of weeks so sorry for the delay in replying. Stormy skies can have a huge emotional impact - capturing that in a photo can be a real challenge!

Hello.I'm Vicky,I live in Greece,love to travel though I rarely have the chance to do it...music, drawing and photography are my hobbies!
I love working with skies too,especially when storm's coming,but that's a little bit difficult here sometimes.

Nice to see the group beginning to grow. Thanks all for your posts. How about some introductions? I'm Paul and I live in Rochester, Kent in the UK (that's the bit in the lower right hand corner for the geographically challenged). I take all sorts of photos, but particularly like to work with skies and reflections.
