Reply to Shooting B&W

i know this an old post but ill throw my 2 cents anyway. when i go out to shoot my mind is made up that day, i will either be shooting for b&w or for color. when i shoot for b&w i am looking at the scene to shoot for b&w and i can see it on the lcd right away, composition and lighting is what im looking for when in b&w mode.

I joined this group as wanted to let you all know about a nature photography competition I'm involved with. It's currently in it's sixth and final week, and the theme this week is 'nature in monochrome' so perfect for you black & white photography lovers (& sepia & other monochrome)!
