So got a firewire cable and my camera seems to respond well with my computer, iphoto is able to extract images off it and the camera appears on the desktop, EOS viewer even shows that it is plugged in. But when I try open EOS capture, it says that there is no camera connected or that it does not register a camera.

Any ideas?

Regards,

You will need a firewire cable (6 pin) and a computer running WinXP. Install the FileViewer utility, connect the camera through the cable and run the program. Now you will be able to modify personal settings including the owners name.

For me it beats 5D classic by a mile on ISO400 and lower... and it is cheaper, better AF, better build.
Problems:
NiCd vs Li batteries
Weight
Slow when writing a card and reviewing images on back LCD
Back LCD sucks
