Am living in 'no mans land' in Guymon OK. In the panhandle above Amarillo Tx, camera I am using is a Sony A65. Thanks for the invite, it's just about the storm chasing season! Feel free to holler if you're ever close to this area :)

Hey, just curious on what you guys use for Dashcam Mounts ???
Myself, I am using a ARKON CMP212 Mount I bought off Amazon for about $12 which works great, but I have had a Fat Gecko and some other brand for sticking to the Windshield, but all seem to sort of ... suck! Any suggestions???
I have been researching RAM Mounts - quite impressive.

I don't use any because you'd have to sit very still the entire time to stop the car from moving. It might seem that the car is steady as a rock, but it wiggles plenty to blur the background and make the picture messy. You can do it, you're right it is safer, just realize that there is a significant setback.

Do any of you use a window mount? I mean the kind you clamp onto your window, not the suction kind. If so, what kind do you use, and do you like it? I want to invest in one so I can take lightning photos while being less dangerous.
