Tell the world about your language & culture. Join and win an international photo contest with the theme "Languages and Cultures through the Language of Photography".

The photo contest is open for all and it is already possible to submit entries. The submission is open till 7 February. Prizes are to be won.

The competition is organized in connection with International Mother Language Day, which is 21 February. You can read more at www.motherlanguageday.org/

You are definitely much closer to the source than Aegolius and me :) And Aegolius, I would be happy to hear from you again after your trip! I does look more like st Nicolai. Can't remember any other possible ruin in Visby with the same type of windows.

First of all: thank you, Aegolius, for your answer! Nice to meet a Canadian who is interested in Gotland (which is proven clearly by your buddy icon!).

The problem is that for example S:t Nicolaus has also such a trefoil. And the window of St:a Katarina in your picture looks slightly different from the window in mine: there is more wall left above the trefoil. But of course it is possible that S:ta Katarina has more windows with a trefoil which look exactly like mine... I don't know. Unfortunately I am now too far away to find it out myself.
