One's in my eyes which must be done

In general, I prefer to take shots in the morning because you're less likely to encounter people, and lighting can be more dramatic when the sun is out.

Aylesbury Estate, Walworth

It's goes on and on, could spend a whole morning there, easy to get inside the buildings too for high views. Will be knocked down in the next few years also.

Trellick / Balfron Tower

Or any other Goldfinger design for that matter, just love the design!

Thamesmead

Pure grey, plus it just goes on and on, so many tower blocks.

Alma Road Estate, EN3

Up in Ponders End, but the trip is worth it.

Goresbrook Village, RM9

Dagenham's finest I find

Doddington & Rollo Estate, Battersea

A very unique one, and an absolute tip at that!

Tower Hamlets and Hackney are among the best London Borough's in the East End of London alone!

Hello people,

I want to start visiting things more frequently and in a bit more of an organised way, soI'm looking please for your favorite bits to visit from around London.

Perhaps you could include an image, what's special about it, and some experience, like a particular time of day or year that it's at it's best, or a good part that's easily overlooked?

I look forward to hearing your suggestions! :)

Many thanks!!

Hello

I was wondering whether someone might be able to tell me where this video of Dusty Springfield walking around a construction site of high rises was shot? I can't place it. The opening voice-over is French but the scene is almost certainly UK.

Hi there, just a quick note to say that my book on British Brutalist architecture has been out a few months now, available at Amazon, the RIBA library and other stockists. Most of the images in the book I took myself but others were gathered through Flickr which has been an invaluable source of information. To see the results have a look at my photostream and/or follow this link: www.amazon.co.uk/Brutalism-Post-War-Architecture-Alexande...
